About the Speaker
Vivaan Berry — a 12th grader, a backbencher, and someone who’s trying to break the stereotype that the back row can’t be focused. While he might joke around and not always seem like the most ‘conventional’ student, he has always believed that impact matters more than appearances. He currently serve as the President of Project Kitab, an initiative working to ensure equal access to education for underserved communities. He is also the Head of Finance at EyeCare Equality, where they provide affordable and accessible eye care to workers and families across the region.
While school has shaped his thinking and values, these roles have pushed him to apply those lessons in the real world — through leading teams, managing finances, and learning what it means to lead with empathy. He believes in showing up, doing the work, and letting action speak louder than assumptions — even if he is doing it all from the back of the classroom.
