A former NDA officer and decorated fighter pilot, Wing Commander Satyam Kushwaha was awarded CAS and CISC Commendations for pioneering work in Geo-INT analytics. As a Defence Specialist at the National Security Council Secretariat, he initiated and led the drafting of India’s National Geospatial Policy, managed critical programs like LCA Tejas, set up the NSCS GIS Lab, and represented India at the UN-GGIM. He served as the first Chief Geospatial Officer at the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways,where he designed the Geospatial Transformation Roadmap. As Founding Director of the

Indian Space Association (ISpA), he curated and steered the 75 DefSpace Challenges and

contributed to major space policy reforms.He is the founder of Scytale Alpha, which developed India’s first quantum-secure communication suite and won the iDEX Open Challenge (NAVY-SPRINT). Through his think

tank, KRANTII, he runs a 24x7 nationwide emergency response service. During COVID-19, he led a volunteer force that saved over 3,500 lives and designed a disaster response plan for the Idukki Dam that assisted the Navy and Kerala government.
