Jonaki Arora
About the Speaker
Jonaki loves working with children and young people because she enjoys their company more than adults! Through her work as a psychologist she hopes to connect with young people, and help them find a safe space to explore their difficulties and reconnect with their skills and abilities. She has a double Master's degree. She did her first Master's degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University, Australia and recently, she has completed another Master's degree in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from University of Melbourne (in collaboration with Dulwich Centre, Australia).
Her 15 years of experience in mental healthcare includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, teachers, and social workers. Jonaki deeply resonates with narrative philosophy that roots for social justice, collaboration, respect, and looks at the social-political context of the person and the problem in therapy.
